Five years in, CAN Art Fair Ibiza has earned its place on the serious collector’s summer calendar. This June 25-28, the fair returns for its fifth edition with 30 international exhibitors, an expanded OFF Program activating unexpected spaces across the island, and CAN Local, a dedicated showcase of Ibiza’s own galleries and institutions. What sets CAN apart from the European fair circuit is not just the programme — it’s the setting. Collectors connect on the island, discover work they wouldn’t find anywhere else, and do it all in a setting that is as intimate as it is unique. That’s what keeps bringing them back.

A Mediterranean Hub of Contemporary Art
Fair Curator Saša Bogojev has brought together a mix of international galleries, whose artists and programmes reflect CAN’s identity: exploratory, dialogue-driven, and resolutely contemporary. Expect presentations from Ruttkowski;68, Galería Reus, Droste Galerie, 1 Mira Madrid, Gathering, Good Mother Gallery, Galería Mayoral, Patricia Low Contemporary, VERVE, and Cub_ism_Artspace. This is not a fair of safe bets. It is a fair for collectors who want to see what’s actually happening.
Ibiza Is the Point
“Over the past five years, we’ve seen an increased awareness of all that Ibiza has to offer”, says Sergio Sancho, CAN Ibiza founder.
Where other fairs compete on scale, CAN competes on atmosphere. Its intimate format makes it one of the few remaining art fairs where a collector can have a real conversation with a gallerist, an artist, or another collector without fighting for attention. That access is increasingly rare, and increasingly valuable.
The OFF Program Goes Further
Running May 28 to June 28, and with the support of Paya Hotels, the expanded OFF Program plants site-specific and gallery exhibitions by Balearic artists into some of the island’s most atmospheric venues, such as a 19th-century mill or a former gunpowder warehouse. Collectors will have the chance to attend presentations featuring Marina Marón at Sa Punta des Molí, Catalina Julve and Federica Furbelli at Faro Ses Coves Blanques, Antonio Villanueva at Es Polvorí, Mercedes Balle at Centro Cultural de Jesús, and Ana Grajales at Five Flowers Formentera Meliá Collection.
The Local Ecosystem
CAN Local positions Ibiza not just as a backdrop but as a serious creative hub. Exhibitions at MACE Museum, Can Garita, Estudio Laterna, Espacio Micus, Estudi Tur Costa, and In Between Gallery make the case that the Balearic Islands have a thriving local art scene worth knowing — and worth collecting.
Acquisition Prizes and Residencies
Prizes at this year’s edition include acquisition awards from Es Baluard Museum (Palma de Mallorca), Fundación Nadine, OD Hotels, and Paradores Nacionales, as well as residency opportunities at Las Cícadas.
The LARRY’S LIST Collector Club Tour
Following the successful collaboration in 2025, LARRY’S LIST returns to Ibiza with a curated three-day art and culture journey running alongside the fair (June 25-28) for collectors seeking more than a visit.
