Ten years mark not only the measure of a collection but also the resonant strings of time. On November 11, 2025, in celebration of its tenth anniversary, the world-leading art and design collecting platform LARRY’S LIST will present a special exhibition during Shanghai Art Week, “The Suzhou Creek Chronicles: LARRY’S LIST Collector’s Residence.” The exhibition will be open to the public from November 12 to November 25, 2025, at Guang’er Warehouse by the Suzhou River in Shanghai.

This exhibition is not only a commemoration of a decade-long journey but also a tangible extension of the “Collector’s Residence” concept — a space where art, collecting, and life converge in a shared spiritual realm. Since its founding, LARRY’S LIST has been dedicated to connecting art collectors and creators worldwide, building a shared home across geographies and cultures. Today, the Collector’s Residence has grown from concept into a physical site, becoming a haven for memory, time, and art.
LARRY’S LIST collaborates with over ten curatorial teams, alongside foundations, designers, private collectors, artists, and institutions, to create a diverse exhibition space under the theme “Echoes of Time.” The exhibition spans various media, including painting, installation, video, fashion, furniture, design objects and art books, covering periods from ancient to contemporary, presented by artists and creators from around the globe. The space is reimagined as a “real-life Collector’s Residence,” combining the warmth of collecting with the breath of creation.

Exhibition
The exhibition features 11 unique spaces curated and created by Muli’s Muli Studio, dedicated to harmonizing works from different regions and materials. This time, using a “TAJI (獺祭)” approach — combining and arranging objects — the studio explores dialogues between past and present and the coexistence of diverse elements. TAOz ROOM, founded by Huang Tao, is an art space that integrates art into everyday life. This project draws from the “Oriental Reverie” within the opera “Madama Butterfly,” reinterpreting the classic through artworks, garments, antiques, and furniture that each tell their own story. Paris-based GALERIE DEBUT will present its unique explorations at the intersection of art and design. Whizz Art Foundation is dedicated to promoting interdisciplinary thinking and social engagement through exhibitions, public programs, and educational initiatives. For this exhibition, it presents the prologue of its long-term project “Archive of the Unknown,” featuring artist Hu Chenyu, who, through fictional imagery and scientific documentation, reflects on how humanity constructs “reality” in the process of exploring the unknown. COMING SOON PROJECTS, aiming to foster cross-cultural dialogue and unforgettable experiences with sincerity and collaboration, will present a floral chandelier created on-site with artist Naraphat Sakarthornsap, poetically addressing themes of hope, equality, and social structures. STUDIO ŪMA, founded by Michelle Song and Amber Pan and inspired by Eastern culture, specializes in historic building renovation and vintage furniture curation, blending furniture and art to create cinematic spatial experiences. Multimedia artist Lu Sisi will continue the “Sunset Drum Sunrise Bell” series in this “Special Presentation,” exploring the fusion of traditional culture and contemporary industry, using “gaze” and “scale” as guiding concepts, supported by 8K ultra-HD projection for a perfect balance of technology and art. Artist Pocono Zhao Yu merges imagery, video, and installation to combine cultural perspectives with spatiotemporal narratives. Her project “Sun’s Messenger: Between Bone and Script” is presented in collaboration with ARCH GALLERY. Curatorial bookstore DIALOG transforms the reading experience into spatial storytelling, extending thought and aesthetics through the interplay of text and space. Design gallery a curated angle focuses on contemporary expressions in home and lighting design, presenting diverse aesthetic possibilities through its distinctive curatorial lens.

French high-end audio brand Devialet will create an immersive soundscape and ensure professional presentation of video works, while Scent consultant SAN crafts a unique olfactory language to evoke the sensory memory of Collector’s Residence, allowing the warmth of art to linger in the air.

Exhibition Design
The exhibition design is led by Shanghai-based designer team STUDIO 4/301, who transform the space itself into a narrative medium, blending conceptual rigor with poetic textures to reconstruct the temporal storytelling of Guang’er Warehouse. Globally renowned Swiss modular design brand USM contributes its modular furniture system, injecting order and elegance, creating a “Collector’s Residence” that balances tension with warmth and allows visitors to feel the interweaving of time and art. The visual design by Li Yanlin employs refined visual language to harmonize with the space and exhibition theme, enriching the atmosphere with tone and texture.
