On 11 September, Dutch-American artist 0010×0010 (Ray Tijssen) brings SIGNAL | NØISE to Bangkok’s creative space Cloud 11 for UNFEST’26. The format is rebuilt as a full-surround work inside the venue’s 360° dome, with HALLUCINOXIS, a new body of audiovisual works, built around one question: what happens to moving image once there is no longer a frame?

A Dome With No Frame
HALLUCINOXIS takes its name from hallucinosis — a state in which perception fractures while awareness stays fully intact. The programme moves through several incompatible perceptual systems, resetting the audience’s sense of scale and orientation again and again. Its centrepiece is a new moving-image work made specifically for the dome — not a film blown up onto a curved surface, but an image with no conventional edge. “A screen always tells you where the image ends,” says 0010×0010. “In the dome, that boundary disappears, so perception itself becomes the material.”
One Work, Two States
SIGNAL | NØISE refuses the usual split between exhibition, screening, concert and performance — in Bangkok, they function as different states of one authored work. From 6PM to 8PM, two all-ages works alternate in rotation; from 8 PM to 10 PM, two 18+ works follow the same structure. At 9.30 PM, the work changes state entirely: SIGNAL’s seated image gives way to NØISE, a live A/V set by 0010×0010 followed by Bo Yin on the decks. The image is no longer received from a seat — it’s encountered through volume, repetition and the body.
The Instrument Behind the Image
Underlying both states is ILLVMIN8R, the visual performance instrument 0010×0010 has developed, letting software, moving image, sound and spatial projection work as one artistic language. Its inputs deliberately span technologies — film cameras, damaged VHS, analogue hardware, modular synthesis and generative AI — not for cleanliness, but for the instability each introduces. As the artist puts it, building the instrument isn’t preparation for the art. It is the art.
One Continuous Body of Work
0010×0010 has spent more than two decades moving between Europe, the US and Asia, working across moving image, generative systems, installation, music and artist-built software as one practice rather than parallel careers. His installations have appeared at the Museum of Contemporary Art Bangkok, W1 Curates London, Times Square New York and TODA Dubai, and with Samsung’s The Wall. In July 2026, he presented Algorithmic Organisms 2.0 at The Grey Box, GMBB Kuala Lumpur — billed as Malaysia’s first large-scale AI generative art experience.

HALLUCINOXIS was built as a modular 360° programme for future presentation by domes, museums and festivals internationally — Bangkok isn’t just hosting a one-off, it’s the site of a format the artist intends to travel. That matters because AI is no longer a side detail in this kind of work; it’s becoming one of the core materials artists build with. 0010×0010 treats generative AI as just one input among many — deliberately impure, deliberately unstable — rather than a shortcut or a spectacle. For a scene trying to understand what serious, technology-driven art looks like right now, that’s exactly why it deserves attention.
