What meaning does one find in collecting art? When and how is a connection formed between an artwork and its collector?

Larry’s List x CUPPAR present the fourth video of the “ART INSIGHTS – China in Focus” series, featuring three collectors: He Juju, the founder of Zhigu Space; Xi Tao, the founder of You Shan Music Company; and Cheng Cheng, the co-partner of Focus Media. Despite their different collecting styles, they have similar intentions and are exploring in similar ways: how to find a spiritual anchor in a world of accelerated change? How to activate a public exhibition space with a distinctive personal imprint? How to navigate between past and present, improvisation and habit? How do we reconcile the spirituality of various artworks so that each collection as a whole has its own life?
